Two Organizations - One Mission: To help our veterans heal, build community, engage, and lead active and healthy lives outside of their uniform and service.
Patrol Base Abbate (PB Abbate) and Helping 2 Overcome (H2O) have teamed to work to help our veterans lead an active and healthy lifestyle around the shared interest in scuba diving. History - In October of 2022 PB Abbate and H2O led the very first Dive Club "Return to Base" to the Island School on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. After seeing the impact that this journey had on our participants the decision was made to continue to forge forward and try our very best to make a difference in the lives of our veterans and their families each and every day.
About the Organizations:
Patrol Base Abbate (PB Abbate):
To honor the legacy of Sergeant Matthew Abbate (uh-baa-tay) by providing warriors space to recalibrate inside the wire and community to thrive outside the wire.
We offer free-of-cost programming in "Big Sky Country" for service members and eligible veterans, where they can reconnect with their warrior spirit, foster community through shared interests, and re-discover purpose in service to each other, their families, and their communities.

Helping 2 Overcome (H2O):
Helping 2 Overcome is an Adventure Based Peer Support Program of Veterans Recovery Resources.
Our Veteran Scuba Programs are designed by veterans and their dependents - for veterans and their dependents. Through three separate paths we encourage learning, continued education, skill development, and healing all while building a healthy and engaging community around the mission of Veterans Recovery Resources.
