Gain the in-depth knowledge and experience that will distinguish you as a leader in any
diving club or group. Thrill to the adventure of open-water dives in settings that will test
skills and expand your diving capabilities and experience. Your success allows you to
proudly carry the most coveted and respected certification card in recreational diving –
the NAUI Master Scuba Diver card.
During training, students will engage in a minimum of eight open-water dives, including
the following required dives:
- Emergency procedures and rescue
- Deep/simulated decompression diving
- Limited visibility or night diving
- Underwater navigation – search and recovery – light salvage
You may also choose from many different dives for your elective dives, such as:
- Environmental study or survey
- Air consumption (practical application)
- Boat diving
Individuals ages 15+ and who have a NAUI Advanced Scuba Diver certification (or its
equivalent), may enroll in the Master Scuba Diver course.

Student is responsible for travel, lodging, and food costs, dive site entry fee to Vortex Springs, and tip to Dive Master / Boat Crew on boat dive.
Get Started
The NAUI Master Scuba Diver course is for certified divers who desire additional
training or orientation to a variety of diving sites and conditions. Divers must be a
minimum of 15 years of age, in good health and must be previously certified as a NAUI
Advanced Scuba Diver or equivalent.
Course Details:
Upon enrollment, participants will be contacted by an H2O staff member to answer any questions and address any concerns. Participants will be issued NAUI eLearning course codes that must be completed prior to taking part in any in-water portions of the course.
Once ALL NAUI eLearning has been completed participants will then be contacted by an H2O Staff Member / Instructor to schedule any in-water portions that may be required for each enrolled course.

Prices shown on each listed course are for Military Members (Active Duty, Reservists, and Veterans) and their Dependent Family Members (Spouse, Dependent Children). Prior to enrollment all participants will be required to show proof of status such as: Course prices are offset by Vets Recovery using our Vets Recover Scuba Scholarship. Helping 2 Overcome is a program of Vets Recover in Mobile AL. Vets Recover is a 501(c)3 dedicated to serving Military Members and their Families.
