Joint Base: Mo-Bee-ile - Bee Program

The Joint Base: Mo-Bee-ile - Bee Program is a hands-on component of the Rooted in Recovery Garden Program at Vets Recover. This initiative gives veterans and community members the opportunity to learn the vital role bees play in sustaining flower and produce growth within our community garden. Participants gain experience in hive management, pollination education, and honey harvesting, deepening their understanding of environmental stewardship and natural wellness.

The honey collected through the program is used to produce a variety of goods—such as soaps, lotions, and edible honey—fostering both creativity and sustainability. By working together around the hive, veterans and community participants build connection, purpose, and appreciation for the healing power of nature.
