Travel Coordinator & Dive Instructor - Helping 2 Overcome Program

Sonja Bridges brings decades of experience and a deep love for the diving community to her role at Vets Recover. As both Travel Coordinator and Dive Instructor, she helps create meaningful experiences in and out of the water, ensuring each trip is both seamless and impactful.

Sonja has been a dive instructor since 1997 and holds certifications with both PADI and NAUI. Over the years, she has coordinated dive travel since 2002 through various dive shops and has shared her knowledge by teaching in the Scientific Diving Program at Florida State University.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and is a PADI Master Instructor as well as a NAUI Instructor. Sonja is passionate about connecting people through travel, adventure, and the transformative power of diving.
