The Boots for Beef Campaign is a collaborative effort between Vets Recover and Vets to Cowboys to support veterans through agriculture, teamwork, and hands-on learning. Together, we’ll purchase and care for a cow that will be raised as part of a therapeutic and educational program for our veterans.

Through this partnership, participants will work alongside Vets to Cowboys and Peer Support Team Members from the Community Integration Team at Vets Recover. Veterans involved will learn essential skills such as animal care, food safety, and agricultural responsibility—building resilience, confidence, and connection in the process.

Once the cow is raised and processed, the beef will be kept at the Vets Recover Residential Building, where it will be used to help feed residents and continue supporting our veteran community.

This program represents more than just raising livestock—it’s about recovery, purpose, and the shared strength of veterans helping veterans.

Donations can be made in intervals of:

*Funds Raised Through This Campaign Will Go Towards the Purchase, Care, and Preparation of Cattle Procured through C-4 Cattle Company in Grand Bay AL, working with Vets to Cowboys if for any reason this is unable to occur funds will go directly towards progarams that are part of the Community Intergration Team at Vets Recover*
